productivity, profitability, retention and customer satisfaction
these are four measures that are being used to check the performance. in the research, they found out that only 5 of those 12 questions that are related to the retention. these 5 questions are:
- do i know what is expected of me at work?
- do i have the materials and equipment i need to do my work right?
- do i have the opportunity to do what i do best every day?
- does my supervisor or someone at work, seem to care about me as a person?
- at work, do my opinions seem to count?
among those 12 questions, the following 6 questions have the strongest link between positive answers and best business outcomes.
- do i know what is expected of me at work?
- do i have the materials and equipment i need to do my work right?
- do i have the opportunities to do what i do best every day?
- in the last seven days, have i received recognition or praise for good work?
- does my supervisor or someone at work seem to care about me as a person?
- is there someone at work who encourages my development
